Rooted
Over seven years ago we became of care takers of this beautiful, magical forested land. We came from a small city surrounded by houses, traffic and noise to a space of serenity, surrounded by trees.
What a breath of peace. My husband and I live here with our three daughters, we spend most of our time gardening, learning from the land, playing, dancing and making the most of our moments together. This land has brought us immeasurable amounts of healing, growth, reflection and connection.
Our own healing journey has led us to this point, where we feel ready to share the healing magic of this land with others.
We had many visions of how we could bring community together in a safe space and finally we were guided to building a geodesic dome in the forest, surrounded by gardens and nature.
We had many helping hands getting this project underway and we are incredibly grateful for all those who came to support us in the construction of both the structure itself and the foundation of this project.
We acknowledge that we reside and gather as guests on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, the traditional territory of the Quw'utsun (Cowichan) Tribes and we respectfully honour our ancestors and the ancestors of this land.

Our vision for the dome is to create a safe, inclusive, magical space for us to gather - in circle, ceremony & kinship.
This is a truly collective, community project and we want the space to embody that.
We are seeking intentional co-creations of all kinds.
This space will hold us as we come together to laugh, cry, share, connect and remember.
We are all deserving of spaces where we feel held by our sisters and brothers, together we can create this reality.
We can choose to show up for one another in a non-judgemental, loving and accepting way.
We can share our innate gifts, empower one another and grow together.
Our intention for this space is to bring together our high frequencies so that we can radiate the light needed to be the change our current reality so desperately needs.
We believe when we come together with an open heart & an open mind, we have the power to create a new story for ourselves and our future generations.
